About me

Hello! I am a first-year PhD student in Computer Science at Durham University, supervised by Dr. Chris Willcocks and I’m also working with Dr. Amit Einav. My research is in theoretical AI: I use tools from information theory and statistical learning theory to understand what neural networks learn, how that knowledge is represented, and how it can be measured, compressed, and transferred between models.

Before the PhD, I completed an MSc at the University of Edinburgh, where I specialised in natural language processing and cognitive modelling, and a BSc in Computer Science here at Durham. Along the way, I spent a year at WeChat (Tencent) as an intern on the Platform Safety team, building AI algorithms for content moderation at scale.
